In typical GeeOhD fashion we bring to you a rant that is not at all connected in thought but only by the madness of its author.

“I wasn’t built to be a regular dude.”

1. In our best efforts to beat the monotony of life we ended up complicating it.  Some people superimpose imaginary conflict to make the “film” of their life more interesting, some turn to more escapist measures (drugs, fantasy, etc.). Why are some of us so afraid of this “regular” life? Is it that bad?

Shit yeah it is.

2. An ambition of accumulating declining assets is not cool.  Relationships age as you do and provide a decreasing marginal benefit yearly.  Examples being a poorly aging spouse or children that didn’t turn out well despite the sizable investments in both.   I guess I’m afraid of being the “almost” who has to put their dreams aside because their lives no longer belong to them.  However selfish it may sound, it what motivates me to great heights and at times breaks me down into the actions described in 1.

My life is a perfect order of disorder

I have a addiction to Polo.  Materialism in and of itself isn’t good but it has worked for me thus far.  I drop bread on these wears.  Many have met me in these very clothes and it has tacitly colored our interactions.  It’s become a part of me.  Imbued in my character it has brought me into your lives and vice versa and for that I’m eternally grateful.  You may not agree but I ask you to think twice next time you’re debating whether to buy that big ticket item.

Didn’t mean to go all after school special on y’all and get personal.  Maybe a shorter more expletive laden rant would have sufficed.  The heavies at SH Collective have deemed my sh!t blog worthy and you’re stuck with it whether you like it or not.

I need more to drink.
