When you think about Latin American food in New York City. You really don’t think about “South Street Seaport.” Onda is a nice spot that is located between J. Crew and the Gap. As you walk in its stepping off the plane on any island just a world full of colors. There are wine bottles that hang from the ceiling, the walls and the tiles are all colored with warm hues.
The must have as a started are the malanga chips, that they serve with garlic crema and cucumber salsa. Onda also has a selection of five ceviches, including a vegetarian mushroom choice. The seafood is even better with coconut crusted mahi-mahi. The pork belly served with spinach and chayote is just as mouth watering.
